Warren and Yulia Pledger will be coming to share his extensive work with orphanages in Russia and the Ukraine. Warren has been ministering to orphans for many years and takes several trips every year. He met his wife Yulia, from Ukraine, on one of his trips. We look forward to hearing what we can do to help those that haven’t found their forever family yet and hear some encouraging words. [11 February 2010]

A Call for Homes for God's Kids
Every day over 1000's of God's beautiful children are living in Hillsborough County licensed foster care due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. In some caes, they must lose even more by being separated from their sibling because of the lack of enough homes. YOU can help by sharing the love God has given you with them. More families are needed to adopt, foster, provide weekend respite or mentor God's children ages 0 - 17 years old. Attend Hillsborough Kids Inc. Foster Parent Orientation to learn more about the needs of children in foster care and how we can answer God's call to care for them. [more]

Equipping Homes for God's Kids
Come journey through an amazing and informative 10 week class about parenting these children in need. Hillsborugh Kid's Inc. will equip you to answer God's call to care for His kids through the 30 hour MAPP Class (Model Approach to Partnership in Parenting) fulfilling foster parent licensing requirements. Some of us will foster, others will be empowered to be a voice for the kids, a mentor, an occasional respite foster care provider or even adopt. [more]
Classes are held on Monday nights from 6:30-9:30pm in room E-112.

The Moses Project
Families beginning the adoption process can often feel overwhelmed by the many options that are available and decisions that need to be made. The Moses Project is an adoption resource for your family, to help answer your questions and support you in following through with the call of God to adopt. We simply want to help connect loving families with children who need them.
The Moses Project Seminar is designed for families who are interested in learning the biblical perspective on adoption, for those who feel God may be calling them to adopt, or those who already know they are called and are beginning the adoption process.
The seminar will be Saturday, February 6th, 9 am-12:30 pm [Register] $10/person

What is the Heart Gallery?
The 2009 Heart Gallery of Tampa Bay is a collaborative effort between the Children's Board of Hillsborough County, the Children's Home, and Hillsborough Kids, Inc. that's dedicated to increasing the number of foster and adoptive families, as well as heighten awareness for the hundreds of children needing homes in our community.
